Dodital Trek

In accordance with the popular legends, Lord Ganesha chose this place as his residence. Dodital being famous for its silent beauty, the Lake lures trekkers from the far and near. The pristine lake reflecting the peace around makes one wonder why people choose cramped cities over the blissful beauty of nature. The lake is surrounded by oaks, pines and rhodendron forests that guard the ‘Dodi’ or trout that inhabit it. The trek is gentle and winding as you climb along the Asi Ganga to Agoda, camping beside a gurgling stream before the final climb to Dodital. It’s also a trek for nature lovers to meet feathered friends and sight bears.

Season            : All Season

Duration          : 5-6 days

 

Dayara Bugyal Trek

Where shepherds have grazed their flocks for hundreds of years lies the most beautiful meadows of India nestled amongst the Bhagirathi, Bandarpoonch and many other peaks. Flowers, streams, a herb garden, and the Gujjar settlements adorn your path from Barsu to the grassy meadows at a high altitude. A picnic lunch at Barnala Lake is a perfect break before you can get a 180 degree view of the sprawling meadows, peaks and the tree lined ridge you’ve left behind. Animal lovers are usually rewarded with a glimpse of a mountain cat or a deer.

Duration          : 6 – 7 days

Kedarkantha Trek

The trek begins from Sankri village on a crackling path of brown leaves that the Pine trees have laid out. The mighty Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, Kala Nag and Ranglana peaks await your arrival at Kedarkantha. When your day is almost over and your body demanding rest, the night sky lit up with the twinkling stars would snatch the sleep away from your droopy eyes. A charming view of a resplendent sunrise follows before your trail to the summit and descent back along frozen streams, meadows and forests.

Duration          : 4 – 7 days

Har ki Dun Trek

This trek route takes you through a fairy tale world of alpine meadows, moraine ridges, glacier basins and age old villages. This trek commences along the Supin River with a few delightful bridges to cross, passes through the ancient Osla Village and further continues through Pine forests, streams, meadows and waterfalls. It further brings you in view of the stately Swargarohini, which overlooks this beautiful valley divided by the calm Karmanashi stream.

Altitude          : 11697 ft

Season            : May – January

Duration          : 8 – 10 days

Pangarchulla Trek

Pangarchulla trek is a mesmerizing walk through meadows, apple orchards and potato farms. Nanda Devi temple and Tapovan are major attractions on this trek. You can camp at Chitrakantha, which is under a night sky filled with the shooting stars. The trek up to Pangarchulla via the forest ridges, snows and meadows will definitely need your camera to capture what your eyes cannot in one go. Atop the summit is a breath taking 360 degree view of the Garhwal peaks. The beautiful and challenging yet doable trek to Pangarchulla will make you feel an accomplished trekker.
