The largest of lesser Himalayan range is Pir Panjal range which consists of many glaciers and High altitude passes, Rohtang Pass is one of them near Manali. The Zaskar Range which seperates Lahaul and Spiti from Tibet. It consist of peaks of elevation crossing 6500 m like Shilla (7026m) and Reo Phargyul (6791m).

1. Kinnaur Kailash Peak (6500 m, 21320 ft)
Kinnaur Kailash peak or Kinner Kailash peak is the magnificent peak in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh and its the highest altitude peaks in Kinnaur Kailash range and it’s the tallest with an altitude of 6500 m. Charang La Pass trek in this area is considered on of the toughest trek in India.
2. Indrasan Peak (6220 m, 20401 ft)
Indrasan Peak – When you get the first sight of Indrasan Peak after crossing Hampta Pass then you will come to know why Indrasan Peak is called “The Aasan of Indra” means the Throne or Rain God –The Indra. Indrasan Peak is considered to be the world’s fifth most technical summit and it remained virgin peak till 1960’s.
3. Deo Tibba Peak (6001 m, 19683 ft)
Deo Tibba Peak is majestic peak in Kullu valley with an altitude of 6001 meter. It’s good peak above 6K to start your mountain climbing after having climbed lower peaks. The Deo Tibba trek is also one of the famous treks near Manali with majestic views of Deo tibba.
4. Hanuman Tibba Peak (5860 m, 19220 ft)
A superb technical peak to climb in Western Himalayas with and altitude of 19220 ft lies near Manali. Hanuman tibba peak is like pyramid with different look on each side with steep ascent.
5. Shitidhar Peak (5290 m, 17351 ft)
Shitidhar Peak is a snow clad peak famous among the mountaineering students and Shitidhar peak serves as the training ground for bigger expedition in High Himalayan peaks. Shitidhar name come from “Shiti means Sharp and Dhar means Edge” and next to Shitidar peak lies Ladakhi and Manali trekking peak the other famous peaks around Manali.
