Government of Sikkim

The Government of Sikkim otherwise called the State Government of Sikkim, or locally as State Government, is the preeminent administering power of the Indian condition of Sikkim and its 4 areas. It comprises of an official, drove by the Governor of Sikkim, a legal and an authoritative.

Like different states in India, the head of the condition of Sikkim is the Governor, designated by the President of India on the counsel of the Central government. His or her post is generally stately. The Chief Minister is the head of government and is vested with the main part of the official forces. Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim and houses the Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly) and the secretariat. The Sikkim High Court is situated in Gangtok, which has purview over the state.

The present Legislative Assembly of Sikkim is unicameral, comprising of 32 Member of the Legislative Assembly (M.L.A). Its term is 5 years unless sooner broke down.
