Summer Season – During the months of April, May and June, you’ll enjoy clear skies. During this period, the average Bhrigu Lake temperature remains between 15 degree celsius and 25 degree celsius. At night, the temperature ranges between 8 degree celsius and 10 degree celsius. Summer season is the best time to visit Bhrigu Lake.
Monsoon Season – During the months of July, August and September, the average temperature ranges between 10 degree celsius and 20 degree celsius. At night, the temperature ranges between 5 degree celsius and 10 degree celsius.
Autumn Season – During the months of October and November, the temperature ranges between 10 degree celsius and 15 degree celsius. At night, the temperature may drop to approximately 4 degree celsius.
Winter Season – During the months of December, January, February and March, you’d witness chilly weather. In these months, the temperature drops below the freezing point, and may reach minus 7 degree celsius. Due to cold Bhrigu Lake weather in winter season, the trek remains closed.
How’s the Trek Experience?
Unlike other high altitude treks in the region, this one is a grassland trek. Within just ten minutes of starting from Gulaba base camp, you enter the lush meadows. The base camp is just an hour’s drive from the famous hill station, Manali. Therefore, reaching Bhrigu Lake is straightforward and relatively easy.
