Gulaba to Rola Kholi
Height – 12,500 feet
Distance – 7 km
On the second day of Bhrigu Lake trek, you need to cover a distance of 7 km to reach Rola Kholi. It takes about 5 hours to reach this campsite. The first 90 minutes is steep ascent, followed by gradual changes in terrain till the campsite. The route takes you through Kolang Nallah, which has a water source and a makeshift wooden bridge.
Unlike other high altitude treks, Bhrigu Lake trekking is relatively easy. The trail takes you through dense forest cover, with views of Solang Valley and Kullu Valley forming the perfect backdrop. Once you reach the camp, spend time soaking in views of the majestic Himalayas, followed by a lively night.
Rola Kholi to Bhrigu Lake
Height – Bhrigu Lake at 14,000 feet / Pandu Ropa at 11,800 feet
Distance -10 km
On the third day of Bhrigu Lake trek, you should start early in the morning. It allows you to enjoy the mesmerizing sunrise in Rola Kholi. For about 4 km, you need to cover a steep ascent. During winter season, this stretch is covered with snow. Once you reach Bhrigu Lake, you’ll be left spellbound by the views and charm of nature’s beauty.

After spending some time at the lake, leave for Pandu Ropa, which takes you through lush meadows. It takes about 6 hours to cover the distance. Staying overnight at the campsite in Pandu Ropa ensures a breathtaking Bhrigu Lake trekking experience.
Pandu Ropa to Vashisht to Manali
Height – Vashisht at 6,900 feet / Manali at 6,700 feet
Distance – 8 km
On the last day of the trek, you should start early in the morning, and even carry packed lunch. Vashisht has religious importance, and you need to trek through a steep descend, with walks through mountain villages, apple orchards and rice fields. The stunning views of snow-clad mountains keep you company throughout the journey.
