One of the most scenic treks in northern India, Valley of Flowers remains closed from May to September due to heavy snowfall. Once the valley opens between May and September, no image can do justice to the mesmerizing beauty of acres of lush landscape. Brightly coloured alpine flowers can be seen in every nook and corner. The best season to visit the Valley of Flowers is from mid-July to the end of August. During this period, the valley is in full bloom, which gives you a chance to witness brightly coloured alpine flowers all around. In the second half of August, the valley starts changing colours to close another season for the year.
