WHY THIS TREK?
The Chandratal Lake is one of the most pleasant treks with diverse landscape from lush green fields of Kullu Valley and desolate landscape of Spiti Valley to the beautiful high elevation icy Chandratal Lake. Chandra Tal (4300m) is one of many trekking destinations in the Himalayan region that is accessible throughout the year. No other trek proposes such diversity in a short span of 3 days.
Even though Chandratal is smaller than other high altitude lakes like Pangong and Moriri, it is no less than other pristine lakes, it serves as a beautiful campsite and an all-night camp near this lake is one of the main attractions in the valley.
