Once you reach the top of the ridge, it’s a 2 hour walk to SnowLine Cafe, which takes you to the top of the mountain. SnowLine Triund height is 10,826 feet. There’s also a Forest Department Rest House, bookings for which can be made from the concerned office in Dharamshala. On a good weather day, it’s an amazing view of the entire Kangra Valley with surrounding hills.
Many trekkers also prefer to go beyond this Triund height to reach Indrahar-Pass, which is located at a height of 14,245 feet. Triund takes you to the nearest snowline in the Himalayan range. Just 13 km from the town of McLeodganj, Triund snowline is located at the shortest distance.
Once you reach the top, it becomes easier to catch breathtaking views of small villages and houses spread across the valley. At the top of Triund Hill, you can also visit Kunal Pathri Devi Temple, which is approximately a 60 minute hike from SnowLine Cafe.
Kunal Pathri Devi Temple is probably the highest point on this trek. From the top of the mountain, you can catch mesmerizing 360 degree views of the entire region.
