Hatu Peak is situated at an elevation of 3400m and only 8 kms from Narkanda town. Hatu Peak offers 360 degree view of the snow capped Himalayan Peak. Hatu Peak Trek takes you to the top through thick Pine, Spruce and rhododendron forests.

Narkanda: situated at an attitude of 2708 meters on the Hindustan Tibet Road (NH – 22), Narkanda offers a spectacular view of snowclad mountain ranges. This is an ideal retreat for the tourists who seek seclusion in mountains. It commands an unique view of the eternal snow line, the inviting apple orchards and dense forests. Narkanda is famous for Skiing & Winter sports. During these days the slopes come alive with skiers. The skiing at Narkanda was started in 1980 and since then HPTDC is conducting skiing courses every year.
Get up early and have sumptuous breakfast and start the trek to Hatu Peak. Hatu Peak trek starting point is about 1 kilometer from Narkanda at intersection point. Initial trek is through the thick forest and after trekking for about 3 kms you get the uninterrupted views of Himalayan mountain range. Hatu peak top is a vantage point gives you panoramic views of The Great Himalayan Range and you can visit sacred Hatu Mata Temple. After spending quality time at the top trek back and relax in hotel.
