The Kudremukh Trek

 

Kudremukh Trek is the most famous trek among the Banglore trekking circuit and the reason is If you are looking for a lush green hills trek in the Western Ghat then Kudremukh Trek is one of the most beautiful scenic trek and third highest peak in Karnataka.  In Kannada language the name Kuduremukha literally means ‘horse-face’ and it refers to a particular picturesque view of a side of the mountain that resembles a horse’s face.

DURATION : 2 DAYS 1 NIGHTS.

Brief Kudremukh Trek Itinerary
 
Day 01: Bangalore – Balagal – Mullodi (7 kms drive & 9 kms trek one way).
Day 02: Mullodi – Bangalore ( 7 kms trek & drive)

Day 1

Drive from Bangalore to Kudremukh National Park

 

Leave from Bangalore at night around 10:00 pm and reach Balagal by early morning. Meet our representative here followed by transfer to Mullodi. Which is located at a distance of 7 kms from here. Reach Mullodi .Mullodi is a base camp of Kudremukh trek. It is a small village of 60 houses and couple of homestays. After having breakfast, we will start our trekking to the top of Kudremukh peak. It’s a full day trek, which takes 7-8 hrs. The trek passes through evergreen forests, green grass lands and streams. Enroute lunch, once you reach on the top you can enjoy the 260 degree mesmerizing view of serenity. Return to the base camp around by evening. Overnight at home stay / Tents.

Day 2

Drive from from Kudremukh National Park to Bangalore ( 7 kms trek & Drive)

 

Wake up at leisure followed by breakfast. Post breakfast we trek down to the Balagal through beautiful villages, sheltered tea gardens and then visit to nearby water fall and take a bath under falls & leave for Bangalore. Reach Bangalore by night around 10:00 pm.
