One of the most scenic treks in northern India, Valley of Flowers remains closed from May to September due to heavy snowfall. Once the valley opens between May and September, no image can do justice to the mesmerizing beauty of acres of lush landscape. Brightly coloured alpine flowers can be seen in every nook and corner. Here we’ve tried to give you an idea about the valley’s magnificent grandeur through our Valley of Flowers images.

Valley of Flowers Images
Valley of Flowers starts from Govindhgat which is a small town on Haridwar Badrinath road just 23 Kilometers ahead of Badrinath.
 
When you start the Valley of Flowers Trek you are greeted with views of this gigantic waterfall. The view is simply amazing.
 
 
The best season to visit the Valley of Flowers is from mid-July to the end of August. During this period, the valley is in full bloom, which gives you a chance to witness brightly coloured alpine flowers all around. In the second half of August, the valley starts changing colours to close another season for the year.

Unlike some other treks, a trip to Valley of Flowers doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t bring your entire family. It’s not a very difficult trek, and many of our trekkers bring their kids along for an experience of a lifetime.
