Lama Dug
Set at an altitude of 3,200 metres, this is one of the most difficult hikes in Manali. The long journey starts from Old Manali and continues uphill to the end. Starting from 2,100 metres, the entire journey is a steep climb. From the top, you can view the Indrasan peak at 6,221 metres and Deo Tibba at 6,001 metres. On your way back, you need to go 1,000 metres downhill to form a full circle. The hike takes about 9 hours.
Patalsu Peak
Set at an altitude of 4,250 metres, this hike starts from Solang Nallah at 2,430 metres. This is another uphill trek that lets you through dense forests. Offering amazing views of the valley, you can complete this hike within 10 hours. To start the hike, you need to drive to Solang Nallah.
