Manali Height From Sea Level
Located at the northern end of the scenic and mesmerizing Kullu Valley, Manali is one of the most popular hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. Manali elevation is 6,398 feet or 2,050 metres, and the adventure capital of the north is situated on the banks of Beas River. Manali Leh Route is considered the most adventurous road trip in India. It crosses five of the high altitude passes namely Rohtang Pass, Baralacha Pass, Nakeela Pass, Lachungala Pass and Tanglangla Pass. Manali Leh Road also passes through Pang Moraines which is oasis in the desert.
Rohtang Pass – Manali Elevation
Set at an altitude of 13,050 feet or 3,979 metres, Rohtang Pass is one of the most famous and visited tourist attractions in the region. Due to high Rohtang Pass – Manali elevation, this region can feel cold even during summer months. In fact, this is the highest point on the famous Manali – Keylong road.
Most people visit Rohtang Pass because it offers a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains. It’s a mesmerizing and breathtaking experience. Near Rohtang, you can also visit Dassaur Lake and Beas Kund. Rohtang Pass is closed during winter months.
Though it can be a long and tiring journey due to Manali elevation, road conditions are good and you don’t experience any problems as such.
