During the month of August, monsoon season hits the region pretty hard. This often leads to bad road conditions, and makes the journey difficult. Streams of water and landslides only add to your problems.
The first half of September is a really good time to visit Chandratal. During this period, weather in Chandratal remains favourable and you don’t come across bad roads or other such problems.
