The Experience

Named after Nag Devta, also called the Serpent God, Nag Tibba trek is frequented by locals in the lower Garhwal Himalayas. According to legend, the Serpent God protects local cattle from snake bites, and hence, Nag Tibba trekking starts from a small temple dedicated to Nag Devta. This scenic mountain range forms the watershed between the Yamuna and Ganges rivers in Uttarakhand.

In order to complete the trek, you can choose from four trekking routes. These are in Pantwari, Patharkhol, Shrikot and Devalsari. Pantwari is the most preferred choice, and you can complete the 7 km trek within a day. However, most trekkers prefer to camp overnight, and complete the journey within 2-3 days.
