In order to trek to Kedarkantha, you have to travel from Dehradun to Sankri. Dehradun is the capital of Uttarakhand and is well-connected to all major Indian cities. It takes around 6 to 7 hours to reach Sankri from Dehradun. Once you arrive in Sankri, you can gear up for your trek. This is a 6-day journey, which starts from Sankri and moves up to Shepherd Camp. Throughout Kedarkantha trek route you will be able to see some of nature’s best creations. The entire route offers many opportunities for photography.

 

When you reach the summit and have successfully reached the highest point at 12500 feet, you will feel very close to nature. You will get to enjoy the most wonderful panoramic views of the famous Himalayan Ranges.
