The Nag Tibba Trek is an ideal weekend trek, which can be easily covered over any extended weekend. From Nag Tibba, one has uninterrupted views of the Himalayan peaks like the Bandarpunch massif, the Gangotri group of peaks, and Mt. Kedarnath, to name a few. If you’re planning school group travel for your students, Renok Adventures can help you plan and organise the trip. Here’s a brief itinerary to give you an idea.

School Group Travel to Nag Tibba

Day 0: School – Mussoorie (8 hrs drive) – Assemble at school premises at 11:30 PM. After a roll call, we head to Mussoorie. On reaching Mussoorie, we have a small briefing about the trek ahead. We go for sightseeing to Kempty Falls, Mall Road etc.

Day 01: Mussoorie – Pantwari – Kathian (6 km trek) – Reach Pantwari by 11:00 AM. After reaching, the students meet our representative for a briefing on the trek ahead. The group is divided into teams. A leader is chosen from each group. Apart from that, the group is divided into active and passive followers. After the briefing, we start our trek to Kathian. We have a hot lunch at our campsite at Kathian. Post lunch, we pitch our tents. Each team decides where and how to pitch its tent. After getting our campsite ready, we indulge in more team-building activities.

Day 02: Group activities in Kathian – After an early breakfast, we participate in activities centered around camping and outdoor survival techniques. All the teams go on an unsupervised off-trail excursion accompanied by our observers. We return to our campsite in Kathian by the evening. We reflect on our adventurous day around a bonfire.

Day 03: Kathian – Nag Tibba Top – Kathian (6 km/5 hrs) – Trek from Kathian to Nag Tibba Top. Explore the area (at the left side slope from the summit, one can get a terrific view of the Himalayan ranges, namely Swargarohini range, the Chaukhamba massif, Nanda Devi, etc.) and come back to Kathian. Overnight in tents.

Day 04: Kathian – Panthwari – Jaipur (6 km trek/11 hrs drive) – Trek from Kathian to Pantwari, and then drive back to Jaipur.
