If adventure has always been high on your travel bucket list, you must have wondered about visiting Ladakh atleast once in life. If you’re a resident of Mumbai, it may seem like a far-fetched dream. However, that’s not the case. With proper planning, a Ladakh trip from Mumbai is ofcourse possible. In fact, it’s one of the most beautiful journeys you will take in life.
Travellers from around the world visit this scenic location on buses, cars and bikes. If you’re not too keen about planning a road trip from Mumbai, you can even look for Ladakh tour packages online. Most of these include airfare. Though there’s a direct flight from Mumbai to Leh, limited availability encourages people to either book a connecting flight via Delhi, Chandigarh or Srinagar, or plan a road trip on their own.
Though barren, Ladakh is one of the most scenic regions in the country. It’s good to plan a trip in summer or autumn season. Winters can be really harsh, and monsoon wreaks havoc on roads, making them inaccessible. For a road trip, the months between May and October are perfect.
